This interactive visualisation shows how the disorders in the core SCID-5-RV map onto the empirically derived dimensions shown in Figure 1B of the paper.

Subset the disorders included in the visualisation using this drop-down menu:

About this visualisation:

Disorders are on the left, and empirically derived dimensions are on the right. Symptoms are linked with the lowest-order dimension on which they load, not including the clustering-based 'symptoms and syndromes' level of the hierarchy in Figure 1B. Line width is proportional to the number of symptoms represented in each link. Where symptoms cross-load on multiple dimensions, the loading most consistent with other symptoms in the disorder is presented to avoid exaggerating heterogeneity. Table S1 in the Supplemental Materials includes all cross-loadings for the symptom criteria of each diagnosis.

How do I interact with the visualisation?

The page is best viewed on a laptop or desktop. If you hover your cursor over a link from a disorder to an empirically derived dimension, it will show you the list of the symptoms captured in that link. If you click on the blue rectangle next to a disorder name, this will highlight the links for that disorder specifically. Similarly, if you click on the blue rectangle next to a construct name on the right hand side, it will highlight the links to that dimension, spanning all of the disorders.

You can also subset the disorders included in the visualisation—based on the section of the SCID-5-RV in which they occur—using the drop-down menu below.
